Entering the 2019 season without their former star and manager, the Minnesota Twins needed a fresh identity. Our work aimed to break through traditional baseball tropes, embracing a new era for the brand. By 2020, the team had established itself with power and swagger, earning the #BombaSquad moniker and setting an all-time single-season home run record. We showcased player personalities and individual styles, shaking off the team’s old image and injecting vital energy into the season. And then the campaign won a gold at the one show and a bronze clio in the sports category.
